Which Devices Work with Proximity (NFC)
Monocard uses NFC technology to share your virtual card through the proximity of compatible smartphones. NFC is an electromagnetic induction technology for transmitting information between electronic devices.
Today, it is a technology present in virtually all modern smartphones, as it uses the same components needed for wireless charging.
Below is a selection of devices that are compatible with Monocard. Note that even if your smartphone is not compatible with proximity, you can still share it using the QR code.
Some devices come with the NFC function disabled by default, so it needs to be activated for proximity to work. Check below if your device has NFC technology; if so, make sure it is enabled in the device settings.
